I just found out a few days ago my neighbor, who was one of my good friends, stole a credit card off my friends mom and spent $150 on it. He's 13 years old. Will he spend any time at a Juvenile detention center or anything?
I'd say yes. He'd better get a good lawyer.

I have been approved of credit cards before but there are specific banks I'd like to apply for a credit card but never was my application granted. You can't say I'm not qualified cause I have been approved of 2 before. Do banks have different sets of standards in approving application? What's annoying is why they do not specifically say the reason why I am declined.
they don't give reasons for denial in any country - maybe you have too MUCH credit for your income if you already have 2 cards - why would you need a 3rd? you shouldn't be carrying big balances on credit cards - that is a sure way to financial disaster
of course different banks have different approval criteria - obviously these banks view you as risky and don;t want to assume that risk

You still need redeem code or credit card to purchase music there's no real way to get around that unless making a fake credit card or finding 2 used redeem codes and mixing the codes up i got $20 card that way

Ok so I am a little stupid in this area considering I have never bought anything from the internet before, but I was just looking on ebay and saw some great bargains. They recomend you pay with paypal, but I don't have one and have no idea what it requires. I am under age and do not have a credit card or any equivalent, is it still possible for me to use ebay? Could I make another little bank account and put my birthday money in there and conect paypal to that? I am a real idiot at this so your probably thinking my question is stupid, but I seriously need an easy explanation on how to get around the crediti card business and to use paypal in a safe way.

You don't need a credit card, all you need is a checking account. Only information they need is name,address,phone, bank routing number, and your bank account number. Then they verify your account by making two small deposits in your account (less than a dollar) then once they make the two small deposits you enter in the amount of the deposits and that's how your account is verified. Paypal is free and it's really nice to have because you can transfer money to and from your bank account from your Paypal account.

We just bought a house and need a credit card to buy some appliances and to use in case of emergency.
How can I get one and how long does it take?
WE HAD to buy a house (our rental house has mold and structural issues/ nothing for rent- house payment less expensive) and we had to use our savings for down payment. A credit card is something I have avoided, but my husband has had some in the past and we paid them off, but we can't afford to risk not having some safety net - I am nine months pregnant.
Used wisely, a credit card can be enormously helpful.
The best place to get a low-cost Visa or Mastercard is through a credit union. If you or your husband are eligible to join a credit union through where you work or live, do so, and then ask for a credit card application. If there's no credit union open to you, you can apply through any bank. Look for a credit card that has no annual fee, and has a fairly low monthly interest rate. Since you're "new" to credit cards, you will probably initially have a card with a low maximum--meaning that you can only charge, say, $250, before hitting your limit. But manage the card well and in time you can upgrade to a better credit card, or ask that your credit limit be increased.
