Wells Fargo CEO John Stumpf, speaking out on the U.S. financial reform bill, said bank customers will bear a financial burden for new regulations on financial firms that deal with services ranging from credit cards to home loans. Wells Fargo shares are down 0.93%, or $0.26, to $27.81.

if my grandmother were to get me an american express gift card with money on it, is there anyway i would be able to transfer that money to my wellsfargo credit card account? the reason for that is, i need to pay HP for my computer repair, but i have to pay the full amount on one card, and my grandmother is getting me one of those pre paid american express cards.

You couldn’t directly transfer from one to the other. You might be able to get cash from the AmEx card and then pay the Wells Fargo prior to using it, or just pay HP straight away.

I just got a wells fargo teen checking account and i was wondering what type of card it is and also the differences between debit and credit cards. thanks!

with you teen account, you should receive a visa debit card. When you use this to make purchases, it will debit your checking. I usually run my debit card as credit…same difference, it will be taken out of the checking account the same. A Credit Card will run off a line of credit.

Jun 29, 2010 — Bank of America (BAC), Wells Fargo (WFC) and JPMorgan Chase (JPM) may lose $1.38 billion in annual revenue from the proposed cap on credit card swipe fees being considered by the U.S. Congress, Moody’s Investors Service said in a report, according to Bloomberg.   Shares of all three were down. WFC was last down 1.85%, BAC down 1.31% and JPM down 1.53%.
